An urban legend is a story that appears mysteriously and spreads spontaneously in various forms and is usually false; contains elements of humor or horror and is very interesting to read or listen to. There is many people who don’t believe urban legends even they are proven to be true. There are many urban legends that have caught my eye. I have three in which I really like. You have to be very attentive to sometimes understand a urban legend.
The first urban legend that interested me was the Ashley Flores missing child hoax. The urban legend was that a mother was missing her daughter and needed help finding her. It was all over the internet and people were reporting sittings of her. In the long run there were no Ashley Flores missing and it was all made it but speeded so far.
The second urban legend I was liked was Barrack Obama was endorsed for president of the U.S by the Ku KLANX Klan. This was so false but it’s funny because if this was to be true this goes against everything that they stand for. But Barrack Obama was endorsed by positive people who are involved in the world making a positive impact on things.
The third urban legend that caught my interest was the bay carrots are made from larger deformed carrots and those they have viruses. The urban legend was so false but interesting to me because I use to think that way but baby carrots are just carrots that grow very small.
I learn so many new things when reading a urban legend or being told one. They are fun to listen to or read. Urban legends are going to be existing for years coming they are not ever going to become old. Urban legends are apart of history, will stay that way as long as there are people to make them up.
